Kanbe’s Markets

Project Title: Give Access – Fundraising Campaign Video for Kanbe’s Markets

Client: Kanbe’s Markets (Kansas City, MO)
Role: Director, Videographer, Editor, Producer
Project Type: Nonprofit Campaign Video

Overview:
This video was produced to support Kanbe’s Markets’ “Give Access” fundraising campaign — an initiative aimed at eliminating food deserts throughout Kansas City. Kanbe’s mission centers around providing consistent access to fresh, affordable produce in underserved neighborhoods through a network of produce stands inside corner stores. The video served as a central storytelling asset to help launch and promote the campaign across digital platforms.

Execution:
I collaborated directly with the founder and CEO to craft a script that captured the organization’s mission, impact, and urgency. The one-day shoot included capturing operations at Kanbe’s warehouse and documenting a produce delivery route through multiple community locations. I organized the schedule to maximize efficiency and authenticity, following a driver and capturing real interactions at corner stores. The final edit was completed within a few days to meet the campaign’s launch timeline.

Deliverables:

  • 1 minute campaign video

  • Script development in partnership with client

  • B-roll from warehouse and community locations

  • Social-friendly export formats
